On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, over 250 Corvettes met at the Radison-Kingsley Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, MI for an enjoyable evening of food and cruising organized by Larry Courtney.  The cruise followed Woodward Avenue from the hotel to 11 Mile Road where food and cash donations were dropped off at St. John's Episcopal Church in Royal Oak.

Over 2,000 food items in cans and dry products were collected. The food bank received $239.00 from the 50/50 raffle plus they received additional cash donations bringing the cash donation total close to $400.00.
